We shopped one on one and she quickly learned my style and helped me find some great pieces. I have been a client of Tamara for 20 years, starting from when she first had a boutique on Pearl Street in Hartford back in the early 2000’s. I can wholeheartedly say that not only does she have fabulous taste, but she has the unique ability to empower women through fashion – something you don’t often come across. Her clothing is a combination of stylish but not trendy, high end but affordable, and always quality over quantity. I live in San Francisco now and still make it a point to try and see her when I’m back in town – and it’s not just to add some fabulous new clothing to my wardrobe, but because when you leave her store you feel like you just met with an old friend: she’s kind, insightful, and wants you to feel not only good but completely comfortable and beautiful in your own skin. She doesn’t have a disingenuous bone in her body. She’s a class act and one of a kind.

Tamara far exceeded any expectations I had for creating a mini makeover and styling day. Her ability to know what works best on your body type as well as her gift of restyling the same outfit in several ways had me excited to try on things, not full of dread like I do when I shop!! The variety of styles, colors and textures in the boutique are not only aesthetically pleasing, they offer options for everyone. Tam has truly created a one-of-a-kind styling experience!

And let me not fail to mention, she also has a partnership with a makeup artist (Roberto) who I was able to schedule for the same day. What he did for my face was unreal!!! It was not over done and he used all the natural colors that I love but in ways I never thought to use. I certainly recommend this entire experience for anyone who needs a little change or boost of confidence.

I absolutely love the Kira denim jumpsuit I purchased online from Dakota Stone Boutique. I found this amazing boutique when I was searching for this exact jumpsuit online. I was so excited to find it after seeing Tiffany Haddish wear it in the movie Like A Boss (see photos). The icing on the cake was when Tamara reached out to me to ask how it fit and if I was happy with my purchase. We ended up talking on the phone for hours, and I was impressed with her commitment to making sure her customers are truly happy.

The owner, Tamara has years of experience in the fashion industry as both a model and as a consultant. Her expertise will immediately show in terms of her personalized service, products and her ability to create beautiful wardrobes out of few key pieces. These wardrobes are both professional and very stylish for the work day or for a night out. I went to Dakota Stone to buy a gift for my wife and left with an education in clothing and design. The clothing is the highest quality and timeless (it will always be en vogue). My wife was thrilled with the items she selected, they fit perfectly (Tamara did this just by looking at pictures) and she looks and feels beautiful.
